Joanna Foster, CBE (Chair)
Joanna currently chairs the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre NHS Trust in Oxford, where she has encouraged the development of a very lively arts programme. She is a trustee of the Open University Foundation, previously chaired the Lloyd TSB Foundation, the Equal Opportunities Commission and was a Director of the BT Forum.

Jane Adam, Jeweller
Jane Adam has worked as a jeweller specialising in anodised aluminium for the last 25 years. Her work is sold, exhibited and worn throughout Britain and internationally.

Jules Campbell, Global Business Development and Marketing Manager Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Linklaters LLP
Jules joined Linklaters law firm in July 2007. Prior to this, he worked for five years at marketing consultancy CPM, managing the outsourcing of sales and marketing functions on behalf of clients such as eBay, DaimlerChrysler and Kellogg's. He also currently advises Vital Regeneration charity in strategic planning and business development.

Sue Daniels, Management Consultant
Sue has worked as a consultant, senior manager and board member within both the cultural and corporate sectors in Britain, Canada, and Australia.

Shelly Goldsmith, Textile Artist
Shelly Goldsmith joins the Crafts Council as a maker trustee, with over 17 years experience of studio work. She was awarded the Jerwood Applied Arts Prize for Textiles in 2002, has exhibited at major museums and galleries in Britain, Europe, the USA and Japan and has work in many notable public collections including the V&A.

Andrew Harrison, Director of Research and Learning at international design consultancy, DEGW
Andrew has published books and written articles on Higher Education issues. He is also Director of Global Yell, a Shetland arts development charity focusing on local music and crafts.

Chris McIntyre, Dean of the Faculty for the Creative and Cultural industries at the University of Hertfordshire
Chris has previously held governance roles at Loughborough College of Art and Design and within the East Midlands Arts Board.

Elizabeth Ogilvie-Smith, Associate Fellow at Oxford University's Saïd Business School
Elizabeth was formerly the Managing Director and Head of Strategic Planning for Europe, Middle East and Africa for Chase Manhattan Bank. Elizabeth is now a Director of Ogilvie Oxford Ltd, providing consultancy and coaching for a range of clients. She is also a trustee of Kids@Art where she has a hands-on role in bringing craftspeople into primary schools.

Peter Phillips, partner in Strategy & Market Developments, Ofcom
Prior to Ofcom, Peter was Director of Business Development at the BBC, leading the award winning sale of BBC Broadcast in 2005. His previous posts at the BBC include Chief Operating Officer, BBC News; and BBC Head of Corporate Planning.
