The Crafts Council Research Library has re-opened.

Our library collection is free to browse and offers a study space useful for makers, curators, teachers and students. It includes books, journals and videos on the following:

  • — Craft technique and practice
  • — Funding directories
  • — Craft exhibition catalogues
  • — Crafts Council reports and craft research

Book an appointment

Please call or email the Research & Information Team in advance to arrange a visit. The Library is open every Wednesday and Thursday, 10am to 5pm.

We are based on the first floor of the Crafts Council office, with a lift and stairs but please do let us know if you have any access requirements.

We welcome group bookings and you are welcome to use the photocopier on site (small charges apply).
